Pledge manager re-opened until 16th of April

Just like we mentioned in the previous update, we are re-opening the PM for late late pledges (promise, there won't be late late late pledges or the re-re-opening of the PM). PM will be open until 16th of April. Here is your chance to add something you or someone you know wanted but did not manage to add.

Molds, rulebook and pledge manager!

Hello friends,

Molds.

Work on the new molds carries on and we have received samples of what the miniatures will look like. They look great, only that they will be 1-2mm shorter than we initially stated on the KS page (26-27mm instead of 28mm). That's because the plastic is heavier than we thought therefore bigger miniatures are lazy and don't want to get up. Rest assured, the new size works well - they flick around, they jump around, they fly around ;)

Rulebook.

Thanks to everyone who showed interestest in reading through the rulebook and everyone who commented that they should be available to all backers. The rulebook is in its pre-proofreading stage and not all the visuals are up to date. Our designer is working on them as you read this. 

Here is the link - all comments are welcome, but keep in mind we will have to evaluate whether we can implement everything that you suggest. 

Pledge manager.

Some people have reached out to us and asked to access the pledge manager. That's why we will be re-opening it from 7th - 16th April (2023) so everyone who wants to add something will have a chance to do that and if you know anyone who would like to jump into this project, let them know.

After that, we will permanently close the pledge manager and place final amounts to the factory. 

We estimate that we will charge for shipping an VAT/taxes at the end of May / beginning of June.

Update on production progress!

Hello friends,

In short, there are delays.  And we really apologize for this.  In this update we will explain what has caused delays and why.

Let's start with the biggest delay - miniatures.  Good news - molds are done! Bad news - we need to make new ones. We created the current mold for a soft PVC material for the miniature top parts. The reason for this is because we thought they would feel much better whilst flicking. When we received pre-production samples, everything was great. But when we received and tested the molded samples, we discovered a big issue - the miniatures, when flicked, would cause too much friction (would not slide on the game board). What this means is that when you would flick them, they would just chaotically bounce around. 

Good news is we are on top of this and creation of the new mold is in process, but this means that the estimate shipping will be pushed at least a couple of months more (so ~November 2023) :(

Molds for the Launcher, D16 dice, Loot box, Bombshell and Objective markers are done and they all work really well. Molds for the risers will be done by the end of March and here's the final visualization based on your comments in the previous update. We changed the bottom clip which is now transparent. 

We are also working on the rulebook and the latest draft should be ready in the coming weeks.  If you are interested in reading it and giving your feedback, drop Janis a line at [email protected]

Some of you asked when we will be charging for shipping. Right now the estimate is June 2023.

Hello friends!


First of all, thanks for all the comments on the new risers. We read all of them and will try to do the best we can to make them look as good as possible. 

Second of all, there was a delay on receiving proper shot samples and the launcher, but those should be with us first half of January. Hopefully sooner. 

And lastly we should be finishing the rulebook during January, and we will post it so you can take a look.

Here we go... update on the production.

Hello friends!

First of all, we would like to apologize for the long period with no updates. The reason for it is something that we have been working on for the past few months and a highlight (in our opinion) of this update.

Production delay :(

Let's start off with the not-so-pleasant-news. Unfortunately the production will be delayed and it looks like we won't be able to deliver games to you in May 2023 as we hoped for, but in September 2023 (estimate). We are truly sorry for this.. we did not anticipate that ''it'' would take so long. What is ''it''...?

Here we go..

We really wanted to do something special for you, our dear backers, and, of course, the game as well. We thought that one things that does not look very thematic are the risers that hold up the upper level of the game. Having worked with multiple people, including local engineers, our factory engineers and our designers, we created a whole new riser design that you can see in the picture below.

Granted, it is still a work in progress and this is just a 3D render, but it is very close to what they will look like. So far we have been using 3D printed prototypes. The work on this took us much longer than expected, and it is the reason for the delay for which we apologize. But we really hope that you like what we came up with.  Thematically, the city of Iron Forest is flying over the world of Neemus. But with the old risers it looked like it was just "hanging" there. We wanted to empathise that it is in fact flying and what better way than with 4 huge engines shooting flames🔥

What's next?

Whilst we're still finalizing the risers, the molds for the miniatures, launcher, custom dice and clips have been made and we will receive the "shot samples" within two weeks. We look forward to showing them off to you in the next update.

And we promise to update you at least once a month even if there is not much to say, to show that we are still alive and kicking ;)
